POSITION SUMMARY As a Senior Solution Consultant, you will partner with the sales team to provide pre-sales technical support to Domo's customers.
You will use in-depth product knowledge to provide technical expertise through presentations and product demonstrations.
Senior Solution Consultants will provide expertise on the business and technical value of Domo's cloud offerings versus the competition.
We are looking for a candidate who can roll up their sleeves and get going, who thrives on being part of a dynamic sales environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Qualify customers' requirements and effectively articulate Domo's ability to meet these requirements; Run business and technical discovery sessions and workshops to understand customer's goals and challenges; Define and position the optimum Domo solution to address those goals and challenges; Manage all technical aspects of a complex sell in conjunction with experienced field personnel and specialist teams from Domo HQ; Present Domo technology, infrastructure, security and roadmap; Respond effectively to RFIs, RFPs, and prospects' technical diligence questions; Work with Account Executives to build effective strategies to drive sales into Fortune 500 customers; Own the success of customer Guided Trials/Po C/Pilots through hands-on delivery, effective management of acceptance criteria and issue escalation/resolution; Provide partner education and support to maximize Domo's success through effective mentoring and product positioning; Develop and deliver exceptional company/product presentations and demonstrations 1:1 and 1: many, including custom solution architecture diagrams; Represent Domo at Trade and Marketing events within the APAC region.
JOB REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related discipline; Experience selling a in B2 B Saa S environment; 10+ years-experience as a Solution Consultant or Sales Engineer within an enterprise software/IT/BI organization with heavy client facing experience; Knowledge of all things Data (Databases, RDBMS, Data Types, Data Structures, ETL, Data Governance, etc.
); Understanding and use of modern data pipelines, ETL, ELT; Knowledge of Cloud Data Warehouses such as Snowflake, and Databricks; Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational and/or dimensional databases; Experience selling Analytics and/or BI solutions; Ability to work as part of a cross-functional team to solve business and technical problems; Solid verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills; Highly driven individual with an execution focus and a strong sense of urgency; Self-directed and resourceful, ability to innovate and take ownership for outcomes (i.e.
own technical win).
NICE TO HAVE Scripting in Javascript, Python and/or R; Experience as a SQL developer with Cloud Data Warehouses such as Snowflake, and Databricks – including certification; Knowledge of Workflow / Business Process Automation solutions; Solution Selling certifications e.g.
Force Management, Holden etc.
; Software application development experience in any language; Experience using REST API frameworks for extracting data; Keynote presentation experience at Marketing events.
