Senior Project Engineer

Senior Project Engineer - Electrical (Perth) Our client, a well-established EPC company, is looking for an aspiring and motivated Senior Project Engineer (Electrical) to join their growing team in Perth. This is a 12-month initial contract position with a view to long term employment.
Project: Brownfield Mining
Responsibilities: Ensure work undertaken complies with scope and meets operational requirements.Develop project schedules, budgets and forecasts.Supervise work and ensure it meets quality, cost and time constraints.Monitor progress and identify potential problems in respect of budgets, schedules, engineering standards.Monitor and identify risks and drive implementations of appropriate controls and mitigations.Develop and implement project controls and specifications, schedules and cost estimates.Requirements: Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering.5+ years of experience in project engineering.Proven experience in managing electrical equipment supply packages on major projects.Experience within Mining, and major project environments.Demonstrated understanding of electrical engineering.Experience with working on projects for Tier 1 mining clients is favorable.Only candidates with the right to work in Australia will be considered.
