The RoleAs a Project Engineer/Senior Project Engineer, you will report to the Project Manager and play a crucial role in coordinating stakeholder engagement and overseeing project delivery processes to achieve our stringent quality objectives.
This role is responsible for but not limited to:
Prepare, evaluate and implement quality assurance plans and other technical documents for efficiency and compliance.Engage in proactive stakeholder management and communication to foster collaborative relationships.Manage construction timelines, budget and cash flow to optimize resource allocation.Conduct regular project reporting internally for transparency and alignment with project goals and objectives.Contribute towards strategic plan and timely execution of projects within the allocated budget and scope.This role offers an attractive and competitive salary package and opportunities to apply and develop your skills across dynamic and challenging projects.
The successful candidate will be provided with a vehicle allowance, phone & laptop to complete your day-to-day works.
About YouThe ideal candidate will possess at least five years of experience in a Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer capacity, with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects in the Defence, Defence industry/ Defence Prime, Industrial, or Commercial sectors.
You will have the opportunity to impart your technical expertise, offer guidance, and share best practices, contributing significantly to the team's collective success.
As the successful applicant you will have:
Degree qualified in Engineering or Construction Management.Previous experience as a Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer for a Head Contractor/or Managing Contractor.Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and building regulations.Commercial acumen and experience in contract administration, claims, reporting, budget, expenditure, and finance.Construction White Card and Current driver's license.Proficiency using MS Project, and other MS office suite programmes.Familiarity with project management tools such as Procore or Aconex, and ERP systems like Pronto, is considered an advantage.Australian citizenship or ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence security clearance (DCAC) and National Police Clearance (NPC) is a mandatory requirement of this role.About McMahon ServicesYou'll be working with one of Australia's largest privately-owned construction, industrial and environmental services organisations.
