The CompanyAs a result of continued growth within one of Adelaide's largest property developers, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Project Coordinator to join my client's team.
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is looking to progress and develop their career within a dynamic and expanding company.You will play a key role in the successful delivery of projects across a variety of sectors, including multi-level constructions, retirement unit developments, unit renovations, and property maintenance.
These projects span throughout Adelaide and Melbourne, offering exposure to diverse construction environments.As a Project Coordinator, you will support the CBD-based project team in managing and administering contracts throughout the project life cycle, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality.
Your efforts will help minimise financial and contractual risks, and contribute to the overall success and profitability of our projects.Key Responsibilities:Assist the project team in the development and delivery of the procurement strategyEnsure contract and documentation requirements are adhered toManage variations, Extensions of Time (EOT), and claims for additional paymentsTrack project financial forecasts and monitor profit/lossOversee contract finalisation, including defects, manuals, and variationsReview work orders and scope of worksProvide support to the project team and site supervisorsRegularly review and manage materials and labour expensesPrepare detailed reports for the Chairman, Development Director, Project Managers, and management teamEnsure the project team meets deadlines and delivers project milestones on timeQualifications & Experience:Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related fieldA minimum of 3-5 years of experience in contract and project administration within a Construction Group or Building Contractor environmentDemonstrated experience with project management softwareStrong financial analysis skills and a focus on administration, with excellent negotiation abilitiesExceptional written and verbal communication skillsProven ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and manage time efficientlyProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft ProjectA current driver's license is requiredThe Benefits:Competitive remuneration packageCBD-based locationOpportunity to work with a reputable, family-owned business committed to long-term successA high-achieving work environment, fostering development of core knowledge in construction processesA long-term opportunity with substantial potential for career growth and developmentTo apply for the opportunity to become part of their team, please submit your up-to-date CV and cover letter to Ezgi Erdogan-Frost via the 'Apply' adjacent to the advert.
