We're looking for an Estimation Lead to join our dynamic team and take charge of estimating processes for our exciting portfolio of projects.

What You'll DoAs the Estimation Lead, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the success of our projects by providing accurate, insightful cost estimates to drive project success and empower teams to plan effectively.
Lead the estimation process for projects, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project goals.Analyze project documents, including blueprints, specifications, and timelines, to develop comprehensive cost estimates.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data, validate costs, and refine estimation methodologies.Evaluate vendor proposals, supplier quotes, and subcontractor bids to ensure competitiveness and compliance.Develop and maintain estimation templates, tools, and documentation for consistent use across projects.Present estimates to stakeholders, providing insights into cost drivers and potential risks.Monitor project budgets, update estimates as needed, and recommend cost-saving opportunities.Mentor and guide junior estimators to enhance team capability and performance.What You'll BringTo excel in this role, you'll bring a strong background in estimation, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to lead and collaborate effectively.
Key qualifications include:
Proven experience within software consultancy or professional services environments.Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret technical documents and project requirements.Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with teams and present cost insights to stakeholders.Proficiency in estimation software and tools; advanced Excel skills are a plus.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with accuracy and efficiency.Leadership experience with a focus on fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.A technical qualification in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or Information Technology is required (or equivalent experience).
