The Opportunity:
Datamine is currently seeking an experienced project/resource geology professional to join our consultancy team.
Based in Perth, this key role focuses on leveraging your expertise as a resource geologist to deliver consultancy services, technical support, and training in Datamine's geological modelling and estimation software to our customer base in the APAC region.
Your resource geology skills will be at the forefront as you support clients in areas such as geological modelling, grade estimation, and reporting.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with leading technology, engage with a diverse range of clients and commodities, and gain exposure across the full mining cycle, from exploration and project evaluation to operational geology.
What You'll Do:
In your first year, your key responsibilities will include:
Delivering client training sessions, focusing on geological modelling and resource estimation.
Supporting pre-sales presentations and software demonstrations.
Undertaking regular site visits to engage with clients and promote best practice use of our solutions.
Hosting interactive webinars showcasing innovative workflows or new functionality.
Creating knowledge base articles to support resource geology workflows.
Providing high quality support for Datamine's geological modelling and estimation software.
What We're Looking For:
A degree majoring in Geology from a recognised tertiary institution, preferably with Honours.
Extensive experience in resource geology or project evaluation, including grade estimation and geological modelling.
Familiarity with geological software packages, with strong data interpretation and reporting skills.
Experience with Datamine Studio RM, Supervisor, and/or Isatis is highly advantageous.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
A collaborative mindset with the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships.
A willingness to travel and engage directly with clients on-site.
Must have the right to live and work in Australia to apply.
