6.30pm finish) Manual transmission drivers' potential for 8am or 10am start Auto transmission drivers' 10am start $31.26ph + 1 x RDO per month (flexibility with your RDO) + 12% Superannuation + Leave entitlements Free Onsite parking | Uniform provided About the opportunity ? As our Medium Rigid Truck Driver , you'll be the face of our trusted business, at the heart of your community and connecting businesses with their customers, and communities with each other day-in, day-out.
You might not be working from home, but you'll be on the road as a staple of your community, and it doesn't get better than that
About the role Safely loading your truck with freight for your deliveries with teammates at the facility? Completing your own daily vehicle safety check?? Driving our MR trucks between our operational centres and customers, for deliveries and pick-ups?? Returning to our operational centres to unload pick-ups About you ? ? You're a friendly, enthusiastic and reliable personality who loves autonomy just as much as interacting with others and being a team player.
You're passionate about making a difference in the community.
If you are a truck driver, a courier driver, a delivery driver or your are physically fit and just want to get into the transport industry, this job is for you.
You'll also need to ? Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident? Hold a medium rigid vehicle license?? Be fit enough to load and unload freight items of all different shapes, sizes and weights, frequently in and out of a truck.
Be safety-focused and understand the importance of chain of responsibility? Have a customer-centric mindset and effective communication skills? You will need to meet our safe working load limit of weighing 130kgs or less Be prepared to provide a driving history report, undergo a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening and national police checks.
