Are you an experienced investigator passionate about fostering integrity and accountability?
We are seeking a Senior Investigations Officer to lead the charge in addressing corruption, misconduct, and complaints, ensuring our organisation exemplifies the highest standards of ethical conduct.

About the Role:
As a Senior Investigations Officer, you will oversee and manage investigations into alleged corrupt conduct, misconduct, and service delivery complaints.
Using contemporary investigative methodologies, you will conduct reliable, timely investigations while working closely with internal and external stakeholders to address systemic deficiencies and improve organisational practices.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct complex and sensitive investigations into allegations of corrupt conduct and staff misconduct in line with legislative and policy frameworks.
Prepare detailed reports, briefing papers, and recommendations for internal and external stakeholders.
Provide expert advice to managers and supervisors on corruption prevention strategies and handling misconduct issues.
Manage public interest disclosures and ensure compliance with the Public Interest Disclosure Act 2010.
Collaborate with external agencies, including the Queensland Ombudsman and the Crime and Corruption Commission, to support investigation outcomes.
Identify and address systemic deficiencies, recommending and implementing value-adding improvements.
Contribute to the enhancement of investigative processes, policies, and business systems.
About You:
High-level knowledge or the ability to quickly acquire knowledge of legislation and policies related to corrupt conduct, misconduct, and workplace investigations.
Proven experience managing complex and sensitive cases with a focus on natural justice and procedural fairness.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
Exceptional interpersonal, mediation, and negotiation skills, alongside proficiency in investigative processes and techniques.
A collaborative approach to building and maintaining high-level relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
