About the role This is a unique opportunity to join our team in a dual role as both a Support Worker (3 days/week) and an Events Organiser for our Memory Lane Cafés (2 days/week).
This is a full-time permanent position, based in Winnellie, NT.
Reporting directly to the Team Leader Client Services you will be responsible for:? Facilitating activities for people living with dementia and providing opportunities for involvement to maintain their skills and abilities and promote personal choice Assisting in the development of individual support plans where appropriate and maintaining an up-to-date understanding of the person's wellbeing needs Attending and Facilitating Memory Lane Cafe's and coordinating the running of the events Managing event logistics such as entertainment, activities, catering, and venue bookings; handling event communications, invitations, and inquiries; and offering administrative assistance, including client data entry Providing administration support including data entry of client information into databases Building strong stakeholder relationships with both internal and external partners including volunteers, clients, external suppliers and community partners Frequent local travel to MLC Events; occasionally outside of business hours What is in it for you?

About you To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone with the following: Certificate III in Aged Care or demonstrated equivalent experience.
Demonstrated experience in an administration role with an event management focus.
Previous experience in a Support Worker role (or similar) within a community or respite service.
Demonstrated experience and understanding of the impacts of dementia for individuals, carers, and their support networks.
Fosters teamwork by working together and cooperatively.
Builds, fosters and sustains relationships (internally and externally).
Understands and uses available technologies and information to maximise efficiencies.
Uses effective time management skills to plan, evaluate and organise work demands.
Qualifications and/or experience in Business Administration or Event Management would be highly regarded.
Full driver's licence is required for local travel.
