What you'll deliver with us ? A hands-on technical role that is accountable for designing, delivering and running Windows Services for the Australia Post Group on premise or through public cloud providers including the provision and management of the specific technical service.
Carries out maintenance, monitoring and support for infrastructure to ensure the stable operations of the organisations Windows Services environment.
You'll also ? Identifying and trialling innovative products that facilitate cost optimisation and continuous improvement delivery Optimise server instance and tools licencing Optimising cloud based workload performance and costs ? About you ? Believes in the principle of One Team and puts the customer and the Enterprise ahead of own agenda in words and actions Work with stakeholders on requirements gathering, speed of delivery and service availability You'll also need ? Extensive experience in managing large, complex and critical enterprise grade Windows services environment (500+ servers) environments in a 24/7 capacity.
Proven initiative through effective incident and problem management with demonstrable improvements i.e.
reduction in incidents, improved SLA, improved availability and reliability Current and pragmatic technical knowledge of key market drivers, industry players and latest developments within competitive markets as related to Windows Services technologiesCan demonstrate previous experience in articulating opportunities within existing environments that have fed into the continuous improvement plan Experience promoting new and improved methodologies, best practise and latest technology from Microsoft and other key vendors, and experience implementing.
