Executive position, senior leadership roleSenior Manager Community Aged and Transport ServicesFull-time PositionLocation: Tumut and CanberraAbout Us Valmar Support Services Ltd is a not-for-profit community-based organisation providing a wide range of aged care and disability support services to people who live in or around the ACT, the Riverina/Southwest Slopes and Southern Tablelands areas of New South Wales.
About The Role: The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the overall operations of Valmar's Community Aged and Transport services.
This position includes all operational areas relating to the standard and quality of care, legislative requirements, strategic directions as well as day-to-day business operations including finances within budgetary guidelines.
A key focus of the role is fostering:
strong relationships with the local community,key stakeholders, and employees.We are looking for someone who has exceptional relationship building and people management skills, who has a creative thought process, the ability to plan and develop strategies for shaping the future, and who can deliver our vision of aged care excellence.
About You: Ideally, you will possess the following:
Bachelor's degree in management, finance, and/or nursing, or an equivalent qualificationProven experience in Aged Care ManagementKnowledge of regulatory requirements and quality standards relating to aged care.Strong analytical skills and attention to detailExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to network and forge partnerships with external stakeholders, work in conjunction with our strong clinical team and clients and families.Ability to solve problems independently and identify improvements.An interest in the care sector and helping to meet the needs of our clients and their families, the community, and our staff.We Offer: Full-time permanent position based at the Tumut and/or the Canberra Office.We offer a competitive salary.A fully maintained motor vehicle.Not for Profit salary packaging.We are seeking to make an appointment as soon as the successful candidate is identified.
