Your impact
An exciting new opportunity is available for a Senior Environmental Planner / Environmental Planner to join our Planning and Environmental Approvals team based in Brisbane.
The role is suited to an experienced planner looking to play a lead role in the delivery of the planning, environmental planning and regulatory approvals of significant projects across the social infrastructure, new energy, energy storage, defence, transport and water sectors.
In this role, you will work with a team comprising both highly experienced professionals and early career stage consultants that will support you to grow and develop professionally.
You will: Develop your consulting, project management and technical skills through delivering a range of planning and environmental consulting projects.Work with clients throughout project planning phase in the preparation of a range of statutory planning submissions.Scope and manage studies and surveys.Prepare high quality planning and environmental approvals documentation.Have access to career development framework to guide your career growth as you receive coaching and mentoring from industry leaders in a work environment that values diversity, flexibility and professional development.Mentor and coach early career stage professionals.Work in a team that is part of national practice, enabling you to work on projects across Australia with our 285+ strong Environmental Solutions business.We offer genuine flexibility including hybrid (home/office) working arrangements to promote work-life balance, and the role can be full time or part time to suit your needs.
The role is based in Brisbane and may require co-location in our clients' office at times.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven individual to work across a diverse suite of projects across multiple industry sectors.
In this role, you will develop your consulting, writing, project management, and technical skills through delivering a range of planning and environmental consulting projects.
You will have: A degree/post graduate qualification in planning, environmental science, environmental planning or related discipline.Good experience in planning, environmental planning, impact assessment or approvals.Demonstrated knowledge of relevant Queensland planning framework.Exceptional organisational skills with strong motivation and ability to work self-directed.Strong communication skills (both verbal and written). #J-18808-Ljbffr
