Azalea Grove Nursery is a wholesale plant production nursery based at Redland Bay, Queensland, supplying a specialised range of plants to the wholesale, retail and landscape industries as well as government bodies and councils in Queensland and New South Wales.
Azalea Grove Nursery has an outstanding reputation within the Nursery Industry, being a supplier of choice for over 60 years.
Through our networks we produce and supply the highest quality plant stock in order to support our clients to meet or exceed their customers' expectations.

Due to a continued period of exceptional growth, we are investing in our future operations and are now seeking to expand our Administration team.
An opportunity exists for an experienced Administration Officer to join our sales team in a support role where you will be responsible for assisting our Sales Co-Ordinator with admin, data entry and general office support functions.

The Role
Reporting to the Sales Manager, this is a rare opportunity for a motivated person to step into a key role within our organisation.
You will work closely with the sales and management teams to ensure all office administrative and sales support functions are complete in a fast paced environment where adherence to time lines, quality control and WH&S standards is critical to the effective performance of our business.
This role demands a person who is capable of working with proven systems in a timely manner which is critical to our success.

Your responsibilities may be varied and will include:
Ensure all daily/weekly data entry functions are completed on time and as per direction from the Sales Manager, Work closely with both the Sales Co-Ordinator and Dispatch Supervisor to provide resources they require on a timely basis, Reconcile all purchase orders with dispatch paperwork correctly and on time to meet transport schedules, Assist our customers with their enquiries and order adjustments via phone and or email communication, Work closely with our transport suppliers to ensure all product movements are booked and received correctly, Maintain essential office stationery and operating supplies, Work closely with the Dispatch Supervisor to ensure all product movements are booked and invoiced as per business policy and procedure, Actively drive a system of continuous improvement in all processes, and Fill in for the Sales Co-Ordinator when they are on annual leave.
Who Are We Looking For?

The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate the following key attributes:
Experience in an office administrative role in either the logistics, warehousing, production, FMCG or horticulture industries, Be a strong and effective communicator with a pleasant phone manner, Have an interest in ornamental plants and horticulture, Be a highly motivated self-starter who is capable of working unsupervised, Must have a strong attention to detail, Have highly developed problem solving skills and be able to effectively multitask, Have experience using Microsoft Office suite, MYOB and general office equipment, Highly motivated, committed, team focused and reliable, and Must have own transport.
Experience in the horticulture industry would be preferred but is not an essential criteria .
