About Us: Property Compliance Victoria is a well-established Compliance Company that specializes in rental property compliance inspections assessing Minimum Standards.
MS was introduced in March 2021 by the Victorian Government and involves assessing if a property meets the minimum housing standard as dictated by the new legislation.
Property Compliance Victoria operates throughout Metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria such as Echuca to Bairnsdale and everywhere in between.
PCV is growing at a rapid rate and requires several field Compliance Auditors.
Location: Head office is in Collingwood, where you will have regular toolbox meetings.
You will spend most of your time on the road in your region and, at times, in other areas as required.
About You: You are trade qualified or have worked in the trade industry, ideally suited to a Plumber, Electrician, or Carpenter.
This role is not labor-intensive, but you will be in the car doing 6-7 jobs a day.
You will need a reliable car, an iPhone, and must be very presentable with good time management skills.
You should have the confidence to engage respectfully with renters and property management staff.
Requirements: You require an ABN as this is a subcontractor position.
You will also need Public Liability and Professional Indemnity insurances.
Ability to travel to regional Victoria is necessary. What We Offer: Full training and support on the Minimum Standards.
You would be supervised for the first week on the road after an 8-hour induction process in the office where you meet the team.
No paperwork is required; everything is done on an App on your phone.
The jobs are booked for you every day and appear on an App.
You are effectively paid per house/apartment depending on the number of bedrooms; more bedrooms mean greater pay.
Audits take between 20 minutes to 50 minutes.
A travel allowance is paid when extensive travel is required.
We try to book the jobs as close to each other as possible.
The best news is, NO Ladders or crawling under houses.
This is a great job that offers flexibility if and when required, and we will work together to get a result that suits us both.
