Due to continuous growth & demand, we are seeking a highly motivated HR & Recruitment Coordinator to join our national HR team, with the preferred location for this position to be based in our vibrant Melbourne office.This newly created role is a fantastic opportunity for a talented individual with ambition to develop a career in HR/Recruitment and gain hands-on exposure within a global law firm environment.You will play a pivotal role ensuring the HR & Recruitment function runs smoothly, creating a first-class experience for candidates, employees, and our internal stakeholders alike.TEAM:Kennedys HR team supports the firm with all people-related matters across Business Partnering, Diversity & Inclusion, CSR, Learning & Development, Operations, and Recruitment.You will be working in a fast-paced, demanding, and global environment as we strive to make a difference for our people, clients, and communities where we work.This is a very exciting time to join the team – our Australian offices have grown exponentially over the last 12 months thanks to our talented people and reputation in the global insurance market.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Provide hands-on administrative support to the HR & Recruitment departments on a day-to-day basisAct as first point of contact for all general HR & Recruitment enquiries, ensuring timely responses to requests from internal and external stakeholdersPrimarily responsible for end-to-end recruitment for casual employees and graduatesUtilise recruitment platforms (such as SEEK, Indeed, and LinkedIn) to advertise positions and source potential candidates on a national scaleDevelop strong internal relationships with Hiring Managers by regularly holding service reviews and creating business plans to anticipate workforce planning needs or skill gapsWork closely with the Recruitment Business Partner to manage the graduate program from start-to-finish by advertising, reviewing & scoring applications, shortlisting, collating feedback, and supporting rotations ensuring supervision/mentorship is maintained effectivelyBe the main point of contact for external and internal enquiries pertaining to the graduate program and monitor the inboxPhone screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and liaising with key stakeholders on selection criteria, collating feedback and administrative supportManaging the ATS and ensuring it is accurate for candidate tracking & reporting activitiesWorking with the HR Coordinator to maintain pre-employment checks and initiate new joiner recordsWorking with the HR Coordinator to ensure all new joiners are onboarded in a timely manner and receive a first-class candidate experienceProviding temporary assistance with recruitment in the wider APAC region, where requiredAd-hoc HR & Recruitment project work, including actively running the annual graduate programFully embrace the principles of diversity across all recruitment processesAssist in HR cyclical tasks as required, e.g., salary reviews, benchmarking, promotion processes, budget reviewsWHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:Previous HR or Recruitment administration experience is essential - ideally within the legal or professional services spaceExperience running a graduate program (or similar) would be highly advantageousTechnically savvy with previous experience using an ATS or HR system to manage candidate and/or employee recordsA confident communicator with the demonstrated ability to build relationships with candidates and internal stakeholdersA legal or HR related qualification would be highly advantageous but is not essentialA quick learner with the ability to work in a fast-paced environmentOrganised and methodical, capable of prioritising & managing multiple roles at any one timeStrong interpersonal and negotiation skills with a natural flair for communicationA supportive team player who enjoys being part of a wider HR & Recruitment functionA genuine desire to learn more about recruitment and further a career at Kennedys*The closing date for applications is 31st January 2025 with shortlisting & interviews to commence in February.Please let us know if you require any additional support or adjustments to be made in order to submit your application to Kennedys.
