Asbestos and IAQ Senior Consultant / Occupational Hygienist We are currently looking for one full time team member as a consultant / manager for our asbestos / occupational hygiene division in our Brisbane office.

About the Role Career opportunity for someone to manage and develop our environmental services division.
Continue to provide quality testing and consulting services for a range of hazardous materials such as Asbestos, Chemicals, Methamphetamine, and Mould.
Indoor Environmental testing and Consulting and preparation of technical reports based on the data gathered is a key component of the role.
Also working as part of a team in the remediation of hazardous environments for key clients.

Key Clients Key clients include government, hospitals, universities, laboratories, shopping centres, commercial buildings, industrial sites and insurance assessments and clearances.
There would also be opportunities to work with our NATA accredited laboratory for critical environment testing.

Formal Qualifications / Requirements A degree in Environmental Science, Engineering or Environmental Health/Occupational Hygiene Experience in managing projects for asbestos inspections and/or asbestos management plans and audits.
Approved Asbestos Identifier – Satisfactory Proficiency Testing Australia (PTA) results for Bulk, Soils and air (Non-essential but advantageous) NATA Fibre Counting Accreditation – Satisfactory PTA results for Fibre Counting (non-essential but advantageous) 5+ Years experience in occupational hygiene or asbestos consulting role in performing a similar role and/or a background in occupational hygiene, asbestos, Mould and indoor air quality.
Knowledge of NABERS, WELL, GREENSTAR and other building standards Familiarity with requirements of ISO9001 quality systems and ISO45001 OH&S Valid Driver's Licence Construction White Card Indoor Air Quality testing consulting and reporting Mould assessments and reporting Business development and sales skills to help grow the business Excellent written and verbal communication skills In Return We Offer Generous salary package commensurate with matching of the above requirements and level of experience Included is either a company vehicle or vehicle allowance with a generous bonus structure reward available for the successful applicant Fully funded memberships to relevant industry associations and ongoing professional development on offer to the successful applicant If this sounds like you, we want to hear from you, so please send your resume and cover letter to
