About the RoleWe currently have a vacancy for a Production Worker / Assembler to work in our manufacturing centre located in Macquarie Park.
Reporting to the Production Manager, we are looking for someone good with their hands who enjoys working in a team environment.
In this role, you get to create the latest cash payment technology and build advanced payment products for our customers.This role will suit someone who has similar experience or a passion to work in a manufacturing industry and is not afraid to get their hands dirty.Key responsibilities include: Perform assembly/disassembly operations on electronic, electro-mechanical, mechanical and product componentsFollow well-established standards, procedures and instructions in performing wiring component installation and product component fitment on assembly unitUse hand and power tools competentlyTest basic operations of machinery based on set checklistIdentify and communicate needed assembly correction, including troubleshooting issuesParticipate in continuous improvement activities for efficienciesPerform other related duties as assigned or requiredMaintain a safe, clean and tidy work environmentAbout You2 – 4 years' experience in electro-mechanical manufacturing or related experienceProficient knowledge of manufacturing processesAbility to follow Work Health and Safety standards, protocols and guidelinesPerksEmployee reward and recognition program where awarded points can be redeemed for rewardsTailored Employee Assistance Program (EAP)Sparks Leadership Workshop for future leadersQuarterly company-wide social events and regular team get-togethersCorporate flu vaccine voucherOpportunity to work for a diverse and inclusive companyIf you take great pride in your work, set high expectations for yourself and others, and always produce quality products, we would love to chat with you
