About Our Role
We need a skilled & experienced Production Manager to oversee the production and fulfillment of our products.
This role is essential for managing operations that utilize specialized machinery, ensuring efficiency, quality, and adherence to safety standards while leading a dedicated team of warehouse assistants.
The role will also be responsible for ensuring quality assurance and that the production team meets scheduled goals, as well as ensuring constant process improvements are made.
Key Responsibilities: Own the production of the product, including quality control.Manage and execute all daily production volume requirements.Follow WHO IS ELIJAH procedures for counting of completed product runs and using software to update all systems and team members.Work closely with Demand/Inventory Planner to manage required volumes of stock to be produced daily.Report daily to Operations Manager, Demand Planner, Warehouse/Dispatch Manager on progress of production runs.Use all WIE plant/machinery equipment to its full ability, maintain equipment, and troubleshoot when required.Analyze production workflows and identify opportunities for improvement.
Implement best practices to streamline operations and reduce waste.Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods.
Work closely with procurement to ensure timely replenishment of necessary supplies.Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the warehouse.
Conduct regular safety training and audits.Maintain accurate records of production metrics, inventory, and machine performance.
Prepare reports for management and suggest improvements based on data analysis.About You: 5+ years of experience in production or warehouse management, ideally in the e-commerce or manufacturing sector with custom machinery.Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and machinery operation.Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.Proficient in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.Join us in creating unforgettable experiences that create memories.
