Clinical/Counselling Psychologist

Be a part of an interdisciplinary team to deliver a high standard of clinical practice in the form of Counselling/Clinical Psychology services to the clients, staff and programs of Ngala.
We are seeking a highly motivated Clinical or Counselling Psychologist (or Registrar) ideally with perinatal and infant mental health background on a casual basis.
DUTIESResponsibilities include but are not limited to:
Develop, deliver and evaluate psycho-education and therapeutic groups for parents with infants.Deliver a variety of evidence-based psychological interventions with infants (0-5 years) and their families.Provide psychological advice, consultation, and training to Nursing/Allied Health staff as required.ABOUT YOUThe successful candidate will hold current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) together with the following:
Hold a current Medicare provider number for focused psychological strategies or clinical psychological therapies.Relevant experience working with people across the lifespan with mental health conditions.Experience in providing evidence-based, attachment-focused, relationship-based interventions with individuals, families, and groups.Demonstrated understanding and developing skills in perinatal and infant mental health.Demonstrated ability to positively contribute to an interdisciplinary team.Demonstrated self-management skills and ability to organise and prioritise workload.Current Working with Children Check.Graduates and Registrars are welcome to apply WHY JOIN USDiscounted Private Healthcare.Free onsite parking.Access to Employee Assistance Program (EAP).HOW TO APPLYApplications are due by 5pm, Tuesday 31 December 2024 however shortlisting will commence immediately so we encourage you to submit your application promptly.
