Description

In this full-time role, you'll focus on the pre-planning, fleet allocation, and compliance oversight of our local fleet.
You'll be responsible for managing multiple priorities, taking initiative to solve challenges, and ensuring clarity in tasks and duties.

You will play a key role in delivering high-quality services to our clients and leadership to the team.

The Role:
Lead and Support Drivers: Provide leadership, guidance, and support to a team of drivers to ensure optimal performance and high morale.
Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with operations, customer service, and dispatch teams to ensure seamless coordination and service delivery.
Problem Solving: Address on-the-road issues as they arise, ensuring timely solutions that minimize disruption.
Compliance and Safety: Support the team to ensure we all adhere to legal regulations and safety standards.
Customer Support: Communicating with internal and external customers to build relationships and ensure clarity around pick up or delivery requirements.
Hours: Rotating roster 1-month swings 6am - 2pm & 11:30am - 7:30pm.

Qualifications
What You Bring:
A minimum of 1-year previous experience as a Fleet Controller or a similar role within the transport industry.
Strong leadership skills with a collaborative mindset.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
A focus on safety and efficiency.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
