About the Role...
The Manager - Asset Management will work with the Senior Manager - Assets and Delivery to oversee the management of Playford's Asset Management framework, including the delivery of Asset Management Planning, Asset Data and Systems, GIS mapping, and forward works programs in line with Council's strategic objectives.
The position will provide leadership, mentoring, and guidance to other team members within the Assets and Delivery department, and more broadly throughout the organisation to promote asset management best practice, and align asset management practices with agreed service levels.

Key Accountabilities of this position include :
Create and maintain an engaged and connected environment for the Asset Management staff where individuals are coached and developed to support individual and the team's success.
Deliver and maintain the Strategic Asset Management Plan and Asset Management Framework with a focus on continual improvement.
Manage the delivery of the Asset Management Plans.
Coordinate annual Asset renewal work plans in consultation with operational / delivery teams and relevant managers across the organisation.
Manage the formation and maintenance of a database of asset details that provides easily-accessible accurate information that is valuable to the business.
Develop, review, and implement asset management policies, procedures, and practices.
The successful applicant will lead a team responsible for developing and delivering Asset Management Plans for assets with a renewal value of over $1.6 billion.

About You...

You will be degree qualified and have experience in an asset management leadership role.
Your qualifications will be a Degree in Asset Management, Engineering, or relevant field.

The successful applicant will have :
Experience being an engaged leader, with experience coaching and developing individuals within the team.
Asset Management experience and comprehensive knowledge of infrastructure and asset management processes, procedures, and practices.
Extensive financial asset management knowledge.
