As the
Finance Business Partner , you will manage Qantas Loyalty's Member & Program Tribe portfolio which includes cross relationships with both Qantas Airlines and Jetstar stakeholders.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to add value and make a direct impact on the business, providing a varied experience within this diverse portfolio which includes Airline Loyalty, Partner Airline and Program Design Business Units.
You will be responsible for a wide range of tasks from month end financial control, through to business partnering.
In this role, you will partner with the business to provide varied support on financial control, FP&A and commercial topics.
This role will have high exposure to a broad range of stakeholders and tasks providing significant development and future career opportunities.
You'll have –
Professional Accounting qualifications (CA/CPA qualified) and 5+ years' experience with similar roles
Proven record in financial control cycle; journal processing, analysing results, delivering quality outputs to management stakeholders
Proven record in FP&A business partnering, managing the budget, plan, forecasting and reporting of actuals against these plans
Proven record in commercial analysis, using expertise to evaluate new opportunities, identify risks and provide recommendations
The ability to build, manage and improve models with large data sets.
Synthesising in presentation style outputs, summarising actionable items
Self-motivated with ability to be across both the details and broader perspective of an overarching business unit strategy
High levels of personal organisation to be able to manage multiple projects within required timeframes and deadlines
A high level of consultation and interpersonal skills used to consult with a range of internal and external stakeholders
Strong focus on results, continuous improvement and identifying opportunities to drive value
Advanced excel skills, experience in ESSBASE and Hyperion spreadsheet packages preferred
Strong influencing and decision-making skills, challenging senior leaders to meet their agreed targets and strategic objectives of their businesses.
