Macmahon is looking for a proactive HR Advisor to join our Underground Mining People Operations team.
Reporting to the People Superintendent, you'll deliver hands-on generalist HR support, partnering with leaders and employees to improve employee experience and business performance.
This role focuses on practical talent management, culture and compliance solutions helping our teams work effectively and grow.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced HR professional looking to make a real impact within a supportive, growth-focused team.
About the role Provide accurate advice, coaching and high-level support on all HR/ER related mattersManage or support workplace investigations, performance management and disciplinary processesAnalyse and interpret data and HR metrics to identify workforce trends and understand and respond to workforce needsPartner with stakeholders to complete cyclical people activitiesRegular site traveland other projects as required (at least once a fortnight)Permanent full-time opportunity with growth and development opportunitiesAbout you Certificate, Diploma, or bachelor's degree in human resources, or a related field.At least 5 years experience in a similar role, within the mining industry.Demonstrated knowledge and experience implementing employment legislation and HR policies and procedures.Ability to work independently on an assigned portfolio of work but also as a collaborative team member.Be able to travel to site on a semi-regular basis.Experience using SuccessFactors (preferred but not essential).Employee benefits Free undercover parking.Incredible staff gym with personal trainers and regular fitness classes.Dedicated lifestyle, financial and mental health support.Salary sacrifice options for flights, vehicles, airport parking and so much more.Access to a wide range of employee discounts with Macmahon retail, vehicle, insurance and banking partners.Ongoing career development opportunities to "Challenge.
