Materials Controller

We are looking for 2 Material Controllers (1 Mechanical, 1 Electrical) working on a 2:1 FIFO roster to Karratha for a newly awarded construction project.
In this role you will be responsible for coordinating the flow of materials, parts, and components and the general purchasing functions for the project.
Key responsibilities include: Mechanical or Electrical Material identification and procurementExperience with Materials Management DatabasesProviding expert advice, service support to customers and business partnersWork in accordance with Quality Assurance proceduresOrganising information into correspondence or databasesPurchasing and hiring of EquipmentLiaising with internal teams regarding JDE, procurement, products and supplyLiaising and negotiating with a wide range of suppliers and external service providers What you will bring: A relevant Trade Qualification or Engineer BSc or HRWL RI Intermediate RiggingPreservation requirements for Mechanical or Electrical Materials - preferredExperience with Materials Management DatabasesExperience in receiving and storage of materials in warehouse and laydown yard environmentsPrevious experience working on large-scale resources construction projects for similar companiesWell-developed communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach with the ability to foster interpersonal relationships across all levelsExperienced using procurement processes and procedures Our Commitment: We celebrate our diversity and shared values and are committed to inclusion and equal opportunities for all.
