Manufacturing Plant Manager

Manufacturing Leadership Role covering multi-sites with a WA award-winning company that has an extensive local, national & international distribution network.
SNAPSHOT OF WHAT YOUR NEW ROLE WILL ENTAILFull details will be provided in detail at the client interview but will include:Overseeing a manufacturing division ensuring effective production through management of labour, productivity, quality control, and safety measures.Reporting to the Managing Director.Overseeing the manufacturing sites and departments.Liaising with the MD on the manufacturing expansion strategy and assisting with any capital development requirements.Assisting the Financial Controller with preparation of any business cases.Investigating and developing advancements in materials handling and composite techniques to introduce improvements.Investigating and implementing improved IT systems and processes to automate workflow including robotics.Developing KPIs.Planning, prioritizing, and delegating work tasks.Managing employee and contractor network requirements to deliver capacity targets.Cost management.Maintaining, developing, and enhancing contractor relationships.Debtor management in cooperation with the Finance team.Keeping abreast of regulatory changes including amendments to Australian Standards.Reporting on a weekly and monthly basis.Preparing, communicating & implementing strategic plans & objectives.Full PD will be provided to shortlisted candidates.
WHO YOU'LL BE WORKING WITHReports to the Managing Director and Executive Management Team as outlined in the position description.
VITAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE FOR THE ROLEA degree in manufacturing, business, or engineering is preferred.Experience with composites preferred.Minimum of 3 years management experience.Working knowledge and understanding of building and engineering plans.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & SOFTWARE KNOWLEDGEHighly attuned written and verbal communication skills.
