Based in Western Australia, the company was established to provide the Australian Resources and Construction Industry with an innovative and flexible approach to Project Delivery and Customer Support.Drawing on over 60 years of experience in delivering a diverse range of services across an extensive project portfolio around the globe, our aim is to become a market leader in the Civil Construction, Ground Water Management & Dewatering industry and our journey is well and truly on its way.We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Western Australia.The OpportunityThis role reporting to the Project Lead will be assigned to contracts in the Pilbara on a FIFO basis.As the ADENCO Project Engineer your responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):Safe Delivery of all aspects of the projects you work on.Review and interpret technical drawings and schematics.Partake in design reviews with the Client and provide input on improvements to provide better functionality.Complete material take offs, liaising with Suppliers and obtaining quotes for procurement of materials required for the Project.Build proactive and effective Client relationships.Daily reporting including completion of all quality documentation and signs off required as per Project specifications and procedures.Assist Project team with tracking of progress and meeting project timelines and budgets.Track and assist with management of change throughout project by way of technical queries and variations.Planning of onsite testing and commissioning.Compile MDRs.Implement the construction strategy and manage Client expectations to achieve PC within the timescales required as well as FC in line with the Contract.Ensure projects comply with Client specifications and applicable standards and any other legal or regulatory requirements.Experience Required:Hold a Qualification in Mechanical Engineering and have 3 years' experience working in the resource industry of Western Australia.Have strong proven qualities of leadership with influencing and presentation skills.Have proven performance on successful projects delivered safely on time and in budget.Previous Mining experience preferred with BHP, Rio Tinto and Roy Hill.Have the right to work in Australia.ADENCO is an equal opportunity employer, and we support diversity in our workforce.
