About the role
Join the dynamic team at Stantec Australia Pty Ltd as a Senior Mechanical Engineer based in our Perth, WA office.
This is a full-time position where you will play a key role in delivering innovative solutions to our clients in the Mining / Engineering sector.
What you'll be doing Lead and manage the delivery of complex mechanical engineering projects from concept to completionCollaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop and implement high-quality mechanical systems and solutionsProvide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and support the professional development of the teamConduct site inspections, prepare reports and manage stakeholder relationshipsStay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations and best practices to continuously improve processes and outputsContribute to business development activities and help grow our mechanical engineering capabilitiesWhat we're looking for Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or a related fieldChartered or Registered Professional Engineer status (or eligible for registration)Minimum 8 years' post-graduate experience in a similar role, preferably in the consulting engineering industryDemonstrated expertise in the design, analysis and delivery of mechanical engineering projectsStrong problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making skillsExcellent communication and stakeholder management capabilitiesProficient in the use of CAD software and other engineering design toolsCollaborative team player with a commitment to mentoring and developing othersWhat we offer At Stantec, we believe in creating a rewarding and inclusive work environment that supports your professional and personal growth.
