The school has three departments, more than 130 academic staff, four research fellows and 25 Professional staff.
In terms of programs, there are four bachelor programs, two PGCert programs, two Master programs and two PhD programs.
Each department has one program and the fourth program has nine majors supported across the departments.
Position summary As a Lecturer, you will contribute to the teaching and research efforts of the school, in disciplines related to your field of expertise.
Specifically, you will be responsible for carrying out teaching activities across undergraduate, Masters and Graduate Diploma programs and maintain and advance scholarly, research and/or professional capabilities.
You will be expected to actively promote the programs by establishing and maintaining memberships, links and partnerships with academic, industry and professional communities.
Our requirements PhD in Tourism and Hospitality Management or equivalent relevant qualification or about to complete PhD within the next 6 months.Broad and in-depth knowledge of the disciplines specifically in Rooms Division management, Facilities management, Event management.Demonstrated ability to prepare and deliver programs at undergraduate and post-graduate levels, including online delivery and the ability to produce high quality curriculum or program materials.3 years of teaching in Higher Education.Industry experience is desirable.Highly rated performance relating to student outcomes, student experience and feedback.Excellent team player.Culturally adept and agile.Expected Research profile For candidates with a PhD awarded more than 5 years ago: you will be expected to demonstrate a minimum of 2 peer-reviewed journal articles, of which must be ranked in Scimago or ABDC and preferably both in Q1/A ranking or equivalent.For candidates with a PhD awarded within the last 3-5 years, although there are no requirements of peer-reviewed journal articles for publication, you need to be research active in relevant research areas.For candidates with a PhD awarded within the last 3 years, although there are no requirements you are expected to be research active.Further information Work Permit: All foreign employees must adhere to the requirements for obtaining a valid visa and work permit in Vietnam.

Work permit requirements are subject to change.English Proficiency: English is the language of teaching and communication at RMIT Vietnam.
