The service operates over 4 sites within Alfred Health, and continually advocates for postgraduate learning and research interests, with supportive partnerships and expert mentors available to foster staff development. The department also has advanced Education programs with Foundation Residency and Advanced Training Residency to support career progression, including opportunities to rotate to external hospitals.
Our pharmacists are recognised as essential members of all clinical teams, actively engaging in a unit and team-based care model involving ward rounds and collaborating closely with the multidisciplinary team to achieve excellent patient care outcomes. There are vast opportunities to engage in Advanced Scopes of Practice.

PracticeEducationResearchAbout the Role We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated pharmacist with experience in hospital pharmacy to support and coordinate the development of the workforce and management portfolio in a full-time ongoing position.
As the Lead Pharmacist - Leadership, Management and Culture, you will lead the management of a workforce of approximately 300 staff, both at a strategic and day-to-day level, under the leadership of the Deputy Director of Pharmacy - Workforce and Culture. You will work to investigate new workforce models and develop IT tools and dashboards to assist in determining demand for workforce and forecast trends. You will work with pharmacy staff and develop initiatives to further build values and respect within and across the workforce and promote staff mental health.
