will unlock the value of Evolution Mining's portfolio through consolidated strategic planning of our underground assets and the delivery of the Life of Mine Plan for our North American operations within the Long-Term Planning function.About the roleThis role is responsible for identifying opportunities for value accretion across the business, supporting the development of ongoing and new projects and providing guidance on current Evolution and global best practice and innovation in Underground Mine Planning.Identify site strategic scenarios and deliver optimised mine designs and schedules to enable selection of a preferred pathway for the Evolution Mining Life of Mine plan.Engage with corporate and site stakeholders to collate and integrate sound inputs into the possible scenarios.Contribute to the identification of risks and opportunities, including critical action development.Participate in person, during LOM-Season workshops at the technical hub in Brisbane.Assist the Study team in delivery of Mine Extension Studies.Collaborate with site teams to align tactical objectives with strategic plans.Assist in the development of Ore Reserves in accordance with JORC.Leverage innovative solutions to consistently unlock the full value potential of our underground assets.About youTo succeed in this position, you will have proven experience in long term mine planning or studies.
It is also important that you have or can demonstrate:A Bachelor or Masters qualification in mining engineering or related discipline.Significant underground experience in the Mining Industry - preferably Gold.Capability to influence and develop Underground Technical Services Management practices by supporting the professional and technical growth of the mining engineering teams.Effectively communicate complex process ideas at all levels with an ability to build relationships across functions and operations from Operator to Board level.Proven experience at a comparable level within an organisation in either a Group (or significant Site based operation) where you held accountability, delivering operational efficiency, driving accurate and reliable interpretations/decisions, and implementing best practice in both technical and operational areas.The understanding and ability to execute mine optimisation processes.Software capability to derive and deliver an optimised strategic underground mine plan and schedule (Exposure to Deswik's full suite of offerings would be advantageous).At Evolution, as our name suggests, change and transformation is in our DNA.
