ERH services the Shire of Campaspe and the cross-border Murray River Council. Echuca Moama and townships are located directly across the state border from one another, separated by the Murray River.
ERH provides a comprehensive range of acute, medical, surgical and sub-acute services plus residential aged care and a broad range of community healthcare services. Applications are sought from suitably qualified professionals to lead the Education, Training and Research department at Echuca Regional Health.
Key responsibilities include:
Provides leadership and management to the education and research team to achieve outcomes
Accountable for the management of the education budget including managing and acquitting grant funds provided
Leads department strategic planning and contributes to organisational strategic planning, taking accountability for the achievement of the Organisation Learning and Development outcomes for ERH
Direct and support the implementation of the research portfolio across the region and Lead the ERH governance oversight of Research including the site readiness for clinical trials
Provide leadership and direction to a number of key projects, including: Implementation of an upgraded learning management system, regional research and innovation symposium and strengthening student models for Allied Health
Qualifications/experience required:
Bachelor Qualification or higher in Education, Business or Human Resources or equivalent experience
Demonstrated ability to think critically and work with autonomy
Strong leadership qualities, including well-developed communication skills to seek and build key relationships
