Security Architect

Location: Canberra (free parking in Bruce), Sydney or Melbourne
Contract Duration: 12 + 12 + 12 month contracts with some WFH
Security Clearance: Baseline security clearance preferred

Our client, a mid-sized and well-funded Federal Government entity focused on sports, is seeking a Security Architect.
Duties: Advise on cyber security considerations and posture in the development of key strategies and architectures.Create cyber security policies, standards and procedures.Collaborate and support project managers, solution architects, business analysts, engineers, and SMEs to ensure the delivery of projects and environmental changes consider cyber security principles.Perform risk assessments of technologies being implemented.Experience: Extensive knowledge of Government cyber security frameworks and guidelines (ISM, Essential 8, PSPF).Experience defining security policies and principles, with considerations for technology and business requirements.Hands-on experience with firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, VPNs, and cloud security tools.Experience with cloud security tools in Azure, AWS, and GCP.To apply for this interesting and long Security Architect contract opportunity, please apply or call Matt on .
