Job Description ABOUT THE COMPANYLower North Shore Local Council is seeking a driven, energetic HR Advisor to play a pivotal role in the operation of the Human Resources function.
Join a close-knit, collaborative HR team servicing over 300 staff across the council.
ABOUT THE ROLEInitial 7-month contract with the possibility of long-term extension for the ideal candidate.
You will take the lead on the recruitment and onboarding of new staff and perform an array of HR duties whilst assisting the Manager of People & Culture.
DUTIESLead recruitment for a variety of Council positionsPrepare employment contracts and contract extensionsProvide advice on all disciplinary matters, performance reviews, leave arrangements, and moreConduct staff onboarding and trainingReport on any matters regarding Employee and Industrial RelationsSKILLS & EXPERIENCEMinimum 3 years experience in a similar HR or Recruitment positionRelevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or related fieldStrong communication and critical thinking skillsCULTUREJoin a team that's passionate about not only Human Resources but also about working with people.
Management will help foster your long-term career development and work closely with you to finesse your skills within the role.
