As a Senior Solicitor in our Commercial Litigation team, you will report to Tony Peterson, an Accredited Specialist, and work alongside one of the most highly regarded teams in NSW, which includes three Accredited Specialists in Commercial Litigation.Your role will focus on a range of commercial litigation matters, with an emphasis on Building & Construction Law.
Key areas include:Contract and building disputesCommercial and home building disputesShareholder and Director DisputesProfessional Negligence claimsInsolvency-related litigationIntellectual Property disputesDebt recoveryAbout You
You are an experienced legal professional with at least 5 years of post-admission experience (PAE) and a proven track record in Commercial Litigation and Building & Construction Law.
You excel at both front-end and back-end matters, are dedicated to delivering exceptional client service, and thrive in a role that balances autonomy with team collaboration.Key Attributes
Strong experience in Building & Construction LawA mature, professional approach and a commercial mindsetDemonstrate strong technical, drafting, and advisory skillsAspire to lead a team and have the ability to guide junior solicitors and support staffPossess exceptional interpersonal and communication skillsBe solutions-focused, with a commitment to achieving the best outcomes for clientsMeet billing targets while maintaining meticulous attention to detail and qualityActively engage in business development and client relationship-building, leveraging your existing referral networksWe value diverse backgrounds and will consider candidates with experience in the building and construction industry alongside their legal expertise.Interested?
