Joondalup Resort is a complete leisure, corporate and tourism venue in the northern suburbs of Perth, with award-winning facilities both on and off the golf course.Joondalup Resort is looking for a Restaurant and Bar Manager. You will be joining a team of hospitality professionals who are passionate, committed, and foremost help us provide memorable experiences to our guests and our very own people.THE ROLEThe Restaurant and Bar Manager is responsible for the daily service of operations and administration of The Alcove & Kangaroo Arms, with the support from the Food and Beverage Manager. The successful candidate will be accountable for:achieving set KPI's of The Alcove & Kangaroo Armensuring the restaurant, bars, and room service are run in line with set standards, policies, and proceduresliaising with suppliers, stocktaking, and month-end reportingstaff training, mentoring, and supporting the Resort's people and culture initiativesABOUT YOUThe experienced candidate must have at least 2 years' experience working in a busy restaurant & bar environment, in a management position.Candidates with a tertiary qualification in Hospitality or Business Management would be advantageous. Talents who have significant knowledge and experience, especially someone who understands the current food scene, are welcome to apply.We are looking for someone who is committed to service excellence; the successful candidate will possess the following personal qualities:immaculate grooming and professional imagecritical thinker with problem-solving skillsstrong organisational and time management skillsexcellent communication skills (both written and verbal)meticulous attention to detailan outgoing, vibrant personality with drive and enthusiasmbe of a friendly nature creating a warm and welcoming environment for staffThe following will be required upon commencement:Approved Managers CertificatePolice Clearance CertificateFirst Aid CertificateHospitality Hygiene Officer CertificateWHAT WE OFFERFree ParkingFree meals on dutyStaff Discount on Food & Beverage, Accommodation, and Golf
