About the Role
The Program Manager leads a team to implement, manage and support the Courts Services Queensland (CSQ) role in High Risk Teams (HRTs) and the specialist DFV approach in courts, and leads the strategic direction of DFV specialisation across Queensland.
The position is based at the Brisbane Magistrates Court.
Regular travel to specialist courts and HRT locations is required and will require overnight travel.
The Program Manager reports to the Director, Specialist Courts, Referral and Support Services (SCRSS).
Key Responsibilities: Oversee implementation, management, and promotion of the specialist DFV program, including the CSQ role in DFV High Risk Teams, and the specialist court approach in Queensland.Lead and manage the DFV Program Team, including specialist court coordinators and CSQ DFV Integrated Response (High Risk Team) staff in various locations throughout Queensland.Provide innovative leadership, guidance, and advice to team members through mentoring, coaching, training, and feedback processes.Collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure the success of the specialist DFV courts.Manage the collation and investigation of data sources to monitor and analyse emerging issues and trends in relation to DFV.Maintain a range of collaborative networks across the department, other government agencies and service providers to monitor and support all aspects of the program.Prepare and quality assure a range of strategic and operational documents as required including briefing papers, reports, submissions, and responses to consultation requests.Represent CSQ in inter-departmental and inter-agency meetings focused on DFV and undertake other duties as directed by the Director, SCRSS.Applications to remain current for 12 months.
