Recruitment - Internal (Human Resources & Recruitment) Full time SMS Mining Services is a privately owned, West Australian based Mining Contractor.
Founded in 2000, SMS has progressed from being solely Equipment Rental to now having extensive involvement in the Maintenance and Contract Mining Divisions.
At SMS we pride ourselves on our positive work culture and ability to deliver desired results.
We are looking for people who are honest hard workers and care about the people they work with, ensuring each employee has the right skill set and attitude to match ours to maintain and enhance our reputation as a leader in the mining industry.
About the Role:We are currently looking for a confident and enthusiastic Recruitment Advisor to join our Recruitment Team in a fast-paced blue collar environment.
The ideal candidate would be someone with a strong recruitment background with previous experience in the Mining Industry.
Managing end to end recruitment for blue collar positionsDirect links to hiring managers - Autonomous roleResponsible for advertising, sourcing, interviewing and onboarding of potential employeesFreedom to think "outside the box" with candidate attractionAd hoc administration and reporting tasks as requiredMonday to Friday – attractive working hoursFull time permanent positionRequirements:Minimum 2 years recruitment industry experiencePrevious high volume, blue collar recruitment experience in an internal recruitment capacityDemonstrable mining industry knowledge, particularly production and maintenanceKnowledge of JobAdder is advantageous, but not essentialExcellent communicator with a confident phone mannerAbility to build effective working relationships with clients and potential employeesAble to achieve targets and follow recruitment best practices i.e.
time and cost per hire, quality vetting and retention, productivity and volume of hires.Positive attitude and able to thrive in a busy environmentHigh attention to detail and able to prioritiseStrong integrity, reliable and desire to achieve quality outcomesA goal-orientated approach to workMust be able to work autonomously as well as in a teamAustralian or New Zealand citizenship or permanent residencyCurrent and valid Australian Drivers LicenceBenefits of SMS:Welshpool based position – free onsite parking
