Division and LocationDivision: Boral Constr Mat LimitedDepartment: CONCRETE QLDWork type: Permanent - full timeLocation: Brisbane Reporting to the Fleet Manager of Concrete, you will have responsibility for supervising all activities of the Boral concrete agitator fleet, contractor management, and driver behavior to ensure achievement of safety, operational, and compliance in accordance with Boral's values and strategic plan.
This pivotal role captures 16 concrete plants on the North side of Brisbane.
Your Day Will Involve:Focus on truck availability and productivity improvementsEngage with drivers to ensure safe operation, while monitoring fatigue and compliance with Boral's policiesVisible Safety LeadershipEnsure budget expectations are met through proactive response to identified areas of 'waste' in the systemLiaise with stakeholders to ensure efficient service and high-quality products are deliveredDevelop strategies for productive operating systemsDevelop and maintain strategies to improve relationships with internal and external customersWhat Are We Looking For?Current Full C Class Driver's LicenseCompetent computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Oracle, and Kronos)Cost control, business improvement WHS, and logistics relations including maintenance and heavy industryTransport and logistics experienceExperienced application of CoRStrong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and follow up on multiple concurrent tasksWhat's On Offer?Attractive salary package reflective of your skills and experienceFully maintained Tool of Trade VehicleAccess to a variety of support networks including Boral Employee Assistance ProgramWork for a values-based business that shares goals and celebrates individual and team success.Work for an Equal Opportunity Employer – At Boral, we understand that diversity brings many benefits, and we are increasingly encouraging greater diversity within our workplaces.About Boral ConcreteAt Boral Concrete, we have more than 200 operational sites across Australia.
