Job Type: Full-time, Monday to Friday with a fortnightly RDO (overtime available)Location: Parkes, NSWStart Date: Late February 2025Key Responsibilities: Routine Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance on small engines and motorized equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.Repairs: Diagnose and repair issues with small motors, including lawn mowers, chainsaws, generators and other equipment used by the council.Parts Replacement: Replace worn or damaged parts to extend the life of the equipment.Parts Procurement: Interact with council staff to understand their equipment needs and provide timely service.Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.Key Requirements: Strong interest in the automotive industry and willingness to learn.Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work safely and follow instructions.Excellent communication and teamwork ability.White Card.Why Join Us?
