Job Title: Corporate/Commercial Lawyer
Company: Growthpoint Properties AustraliaOur client, Growthpoint Properties Australia (Growthpoint), is an ASX listed real estate investment trust with a track record of owning and managing high-quality office, industrial, and retail assets across Australia.
Growthpoint is recognised for its focus on sustainability and creating spaces for people and businesses to thrive.
Growthpoint is on track to meet its Net Zero Emissions target by 1 July 2025.Growthpoint now seeks a talented corporate/commercial lawyer to join the company.
Reporting to the Managing Legal Counsel and working with a well-regarded, collaborative legal team, you will be managing the legal aspects of corporate and property mergers, acquisitions, divestments, and investment opportunities; funds management matters across a number of jurisdictions; drafting and negotiating finance and related documents; contractual drafting and negotiating; and general corporate advisory work.
You will regularly liaise with other members of the team, internal stakeholders, and coordinate external legal advisers as required.The successful candidate will ideally be an experienced corporate/commercial lawyer with tenure in a reputable private practice firm.
In-house candidates offering property and funds management experience who are seeking a broader role are encouraged to apply.
