Administration Clerk – Front Office Masada Private Hospital, East St Kilda Permanent part-time and casual positions Unique opportunity within a dynamic team with a great reputation and exposure
Secure your position now with Australia's largest private health care provider About the Role As an Administration Clerk, you are responsible for providing administrative support and assistance to patients and their families upon their arrival at the hospital, in both our day rehab and front office receptions.
Responsibilities of this job may include: Admission scheduling processes to ensure appropriate bed management and utilisation Managing incoming and outgoing calls to the front desk.
Provide timely and accurate information to queries by patients, visitors and other staff and departments.
Compilation and management of patient admission papers and clinical notes.
Admissions and discharges of patients.
Your Skills and Experience Excellent communication skills and demonstrated problem solving ability Demonstrated exceptional customer service skills Proven strong organisational and time management skills To be available to work a flexible roster and available at short notice Ability to work and cope in stressful situations Willingness to learn Desirable Requirements Experience in hospital patient administration systems, or private practice software Understanding of Private Health Insurance / patient billing Relevant health services experience is recommended Remuneration: On offer is base hourly rate ranging from $28.09 + casual load + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.

About Our Hospital Masada Private Hospital is a fully accredited 105 bed acute medical, surgical facility with specialised dermatology, early parenting and rehabilitation services.
Our four operating theatres are equipped for both minor and complex procedures.
