MAYDAY Healthcare is thrilled to partner with a leading cancer care facility in regional NSW, known for its exceptional care and commitment to the community and are currently seeking a full-time Nurse Unit Manager to join their team.
In this role, you will work in a collaborative team environment dedicated to improving the lives of patients receiving cancer care within the local community.
This exciting relocation opportunity will see you lead the nursing team to align with the facility's strategy, vision, and values.
This includes leveraging advanced nursing knowledge and skills, providing exemplary leadership, and fostering effective communication to ensure a motivated workforce and efficient resource management while meeting all regulatory requirements.

Monday - Friday role - no weekend work or night shiftsThe Role: Set the standard for nursing staff through exemplary leadership and effective communication practicesOversee performance development and management, including conducting annual performance reviews for the nursing teamAdvocate for and actively participate in improving culture, quality, efficiency, and effectiveness, taking on leadership responsibilities as neededCollaborate with a diverse onsite team comprising doctors, physicists, radiation therapists, nursing, and administrative staff to streamline workflow processes.
