The Company
Due to continued success globally, this trusted manufacturer of pumping solutions and LV Variable Speed Drives for the Oil and Gas industry is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager, based in Brisbane.
With a dedicated installation and service team, excellent technical support, and a genuine customer-focused culture, this growing organization is taking on their competition and winning.
The Position
This position best suits an experienced, autonomous, outcome-focused Business Development Manager with existing relationships across Queensland's oil and gas sector.
Your role will be to manage existing accounts and actively seek new business opportunities.
To achieve this, you will need to have existing relationships in the oil and gas sector, along with strong sales skills and habits – planned with call cycles, a good awareness of upcoming projects in the region, ability to work autonomously, great communication skills, and a desire to provide exceptional service.
Skills & Experience Required:
An engineering qualification is preferred, but not essential.
Onshore Oil & Gas, downhole extraction experience is preferred.
Significant Australian experience selling Pumping, VSD, or Control Systems.
A proven track record of achieving sales budgets and targets.
A structured and planned approach to sales – Miller Heiman blue-sheeting experience or similar highly regarded.
Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
Willingness to travel as required.
