About Us Hitachi Construction Machinery (Australia) Pty Ltd is a leading manufacturer of construction and mining equipment.
The Opportunity With strong growth in our Brisbane Remanufacturing branch, we are currently on the lookout for an experienced and mechanically minded HV Electrical Fitter to join our Service Department.
This is an afternoon shift position based at our Wacol branch.
Shift Times : Monday - Friday : 2pm - 10pm or 9 day fortnight roster available
Key responsibilities in this role include : Assembling / Disassembling & testing Hitachi haul truck electrical componentsCompletion and submission of all relevant documentation and reporting paperworkPerforming diagnostic evaluations and component fault analytics on quality earthmoving machinery.Conducting your work in compliance with all quality and safety standards and proceduresAbout You To be successful in this role, you will need : Certificate III in Electrical Fitting and a current driver's licenseWAH, Dogging & Forklift Tickets would be advantageousHigh level understanding of earthmoving equipment including Haul Trucks and High Voltage electrical fault finding & diagnosisOEM experience will be a distinct advantageA strong safety focusCommitted to delivering Hitachi's promise of Total Customer SatisfactionInitiative to plan work fronts efficiently and effectively to deliver quality outcomes in a high pressure environmentBenefits - What's in it for you?
