BW Offshore is looking for a Operations Engineer to join our Darwin team.
The successful candidate will report to Technical and Maintenance Manager (TTM).
The successful candidate will actively contribute and provide technical and advisory support to the Technical and Maintenance Manager and FPSO Opal.
This position is an onshore position Monday - Friday and will be based in Darwin, Northern Territory.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities Support the activities of Technical and Maintenance Manager (TMM) particularly during extraordinary modifications and activities.Coordinate Operation/ Asset objectives from the planning, scheduling and progress reporting standpoint and serve as a focal point in the preparation, maintenance, progressing and reporting of the Asset Integrated Schedules covering 14D, 90D and 18M operational/ maintenance planSupport TMM and Offshore teams with day-to-day response and trouble shoot of critical issuesWill be required to mobilise offshore to support turnaround or specific asset project tasksSupport mobilization planning of vendors / contractors and associated equipment to the offshore facilityContinuous improvement of maintenance strategy in co-operation with senior ops engineer, TMM & AM in order to achieve a safe and efficient operationSupport the TMM in the preparation of the maintenance schedules for campaigns and projects such as planned maintenance shutdown, diving inspections ect.
And communication of these schedules to all partiesIdentify maintenance backlog (overdue work orders from CMMS/IFS).
In consultation with TMM and offshore management, evaluate and finalise scope.
Develop or manager development of required work packs for the planned Maintenance tasks where needed.
Monitor IFS dashboard on daily basis, ensure that SCPM and RA get the attention it needsSupport TTM in Client related meetings and reporting/ preparations thereof as requiredActively participate in JSAs, FSAs, and RCAs as required and manage required reports and maintain historical documentationDirect and coordinate all relevant local requisitions for spares, consumables and services for repairs and maintenance activitiesQualifications Relevant accreditations to industryFPSO/ Offshore experience is highly desirableWe are seeking individuals who not only resonate with our core values - LEAD (Leverage the Team, Excellence, Accountability, Development) with Integrity but also have a proactive approach to problem-solving, are attentive to details, have excellent communication skills and able to collaborate effectively across the teams.
