This role is part of a team of specialists that support designated sales regions as well as serve as a backup for all other Field Operations Specialists globally.
You will be responsible for removing the administrative (non-client facing) task burden from your supported region in terms of our internal tools and processes (GitHub and 3rd party) and will be continually looking for process improvements that will automate today's manual workflows as well as report any bugs or issues that may crop up during your day to day to the appropriate internal teams.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for reducing the administrative tooling/process burden from the sales field; including, but not limited to:Quote creation, account and opportunity validation, GitHub issue creation, case processing submissions, administrative product inquiries, etc.Develop, maintain, and monitor daily operational procedures.Provide support and respond to inquiries from the global Sales team on sales processes, tools and general sales activities.Be the subject matter expert (SME) for all day to day tooling requests for your supported region, both asynchronously and on virtual meetings.Ensure the integrity of customer information maintained in systems including Salesforce.com and GitHub.Contribute to and work with the greater Field Operations, Sales Support and Deal Desk teams on special projects including but not limited to training, documentation, and reporting.Identify process improvement areas to increase automation and efficiency and define success criteria to resolve requested enhancements.Identify, and assist in resolution for, enhancements and bug fixes that may be causing operational inefficiencies within your region.QualificationsRequired QualificationsSeveral years experience in sales operations, project management, analytics, compensation, sales performance analytics, finance/business analyst, process improvement, business development, customer success, finance, marketing operations, or a related field.OR Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Sales, Accounting, Information Systems, Social Sciences or related field AND experience in sales operations, project management, analytics, compensation, sales performance analytics, finance/business analyst, process improvement, business development, customer success, finance, marketing operations, or a related field.OR equivalent experience.Preferred QualificationsInterest in supporting daily sales motions with strong organizational and documentation skills.Experience in reporting, tracking, and testing bugs and enhancements in technical tools.Strong analytical skills and technical aptitude.Proficiency in Salesforce and knowledge of enterprise SaaS tools.GitHub valuesCustomer-obsessedShip to learnGrowth mindsetOwn the outcomeBetter togetherDiverse and inclusiveManager fundamentalsModelCoachCareLeadership principlesCreate clarityGenerate energyDeliver successWho We AreGitHub is the world's leading AI-powered developer platform with 100 million developers and counting.
