My client is an ambitious, fast-growing specialist fire protection business with sales of over 10m and plans to continue this growth for the foreseeable future.Due to this growth, they're looking to employ a commercial director to oversee the business in its entirety. You will be responsible for overseeing the commercial department and ensuring the long-term stability of the business.The business is 3rd party accredited, with existing relationships, framework contracts, and a strong established team.Key Responsibilities:Oversee the commercial department.Ensure long-term stability of the business.Candidate Requirements:Commercially minded: Able to recognise opportunities, protecting margins & profit throughout.People skills: You will be able to engage with a wide range of stakeholders, no matter their seniority.Leadership: Growing a small business & a new team takes perseverance, maturity & problem solving.Industry wisdom: Not just technical, but how the sector works now, & where it is going.
