About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for passionate P&C Manager looking to step up and lead P&C function of the Foundation with a focus:
Overseeing HRIS (ELMO) and maintain employees' records Managing the People & Capability Advisor Manage employee lifecycle from recruitment, onboarding, engagement and exit interviews Overseeing payroll and approvals Provide specialist advice, guidance and support regarding current industrial Award provisions, HR legislative matters, and change management processes Provide advice to Managers in relation to performance and grievance management procedures, advocacy and conflict resolution support, and application of performance monitoring outcomes Manage HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant legislation while fostering an inclusive workplace culture.
Conduct workplace investigations Talent management – advising on all aspects of talent management including performance reviews, succession planning and talent development Coordinate learning and development activities where required Lead various HR projects and initiatives This role requires a proactive approach to people management, focusing on creating a supportive environment that encourages professional growth while aligning with the mission of Waalitj Foundation.
About you:
Qualifications in Human Resource Management and/or related discipline Substantial work experience in relevant field Experience managing recruitment processes, including talent acquisition and onboarding programmes Experience in handling employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions Sound knowledge of employment law and best practices in HR Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to foster a positive workplace culture and employee engagement Competence in training, development, and performance management techniques Proficient in HR software and data management systems ELMO (HRIS) will be highly regarded Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisations/communities/ people is advantageous Experience working with a community and/or not-for-profit organisation is advantageous What We Offer You:
