We are passionate about our focus in providing education, employment and business opportunities.About the Role:This is an exciting opportunity for passionate P&C Manager looking to step up and lead P&C function of the Foundation with a focus:Overseeing HRIS (ELMO) and maintain employees' recordsManaging the People & Capability Advisor Manage employee lifecycle from recruitment, onboarding, engagement and exit interviewsOverseeing payroll and approvalsProvide specialist advice, guidance and support regarding current industrial Award provisions, HR legislative matters, and change management processesProvide advice to Managers in relation to performance and grievance management procedures, advocacy and conflict resolution support, and application of performance monitoring outcomesManage HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant legislation while fostering an inclusive workplace culture.Conduct workplace investigationsTalent management – advising on all aspects of talent management including performance reviews, succession planning and talent developmentCoordinate learning and development activities where requiredLead various HR projects and initiativesThis role requires a proactive approach to people management, focusing on creating a supportive environment that encourages professional growth while aligning with the mission of Waalitj Foundation.About you:Qualifications in Human Resource Management and/or related disciplineSubstantial work experience in relevant fieldExperience managing recruitment processes, including talent acquisition and onboarding programmesExperience in handling employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actionsSound knowledge of employment law and best practices in HRExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to foster a positive workplace culture and employee engagementCompetence in training, development, and performance management techniquesProficient in HR software and data management systems ELMO (HRIS) will be highly regardedExperience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisations/communities/ people is advantageousExperience working with a community and/or not-for-profit organisation is advantageousWhat We Offer You:A competitive salary including Salary Packaging benefitsEmployee Assistance ProgramInternal Scholarships and Staff Giving ProgramTraining and professional development opportunitiesA friendly and supportive work environmentWe strongly encourage applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.Please apply with a Cover Letter and Resume, by 5pm AWST on Monday 6 January 2025NB: Shortlisting may happen prior to closing date.For position related inquiries please contact the People and Capability team at ******
