Parkerville Children and Youth Care – Perth WAOur Purpose is to support children, young people, and their families to build skills and capacity, address the impacts of trauma and adverse childhood experiences, and develop capabilities that will enable them to be the best versions of themselves.Our VisionWe see a future where Western Australia is the safest place in the world and all children, young people, and their families feel safe to dream, to thrive, and to reach their fullest potential.About the RoleThis role is offered on a Permanent, Full-Time basis, at our Burswood location.The successful candidate for this role will be able to:Human Resource ManagementProvide hands-on HR generalist support for operational staff in all aspects of day-to-day management of people across the organisation in areas such as talent management and recruitment, performance development, performance management, training, and development.Work with P&C Manager to implement P&C operational plan and identified human resource projects.Draft and issue contracts of employment, employment variations and internal employee correspondence.Track end-to-end HR processes and provide metrics on employee movements and associated analytics.Conduct exit interviews, track and report on turnover trends.Interpret the enterprise agreement, FW legislation and awards to ensure there is consistency and compliance to value our employees.Support generalist P&C, recruitment activity and P&C projects.Build trusted relationships within our business, to guide, foster and enhance employee relations.Guide and support internal managers on employee relations matters to contribute to a constructive culture of consistency and fairness.Participate in the implementation of HR initiatives with our team to add to a bigger picture of employee engagement and culture.Occupational Safety & HealthContribute towards the achievement of a safe work environment by taking proactive measures to promote the safety, health and well-being of employees.Actively engage with the Safety Committee contributing People related advice.CommunicationCommunicate appropriately with staff and internal / external key stakeholders displaying integrity and professionalism.Professional ConductEnsure effective integration, cooperation and collaboration.Extend professional knowledge through a range of self-development mechanisms including training, workshops, seminars, network forums etc.Other dutiesUndertake any other duties as requested / directed to meet operational needs.The successful candidate for this role will be able to and hold:Tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management is desirable however is not compulsory.Experience providing generalist advice to a diverse workforce.Highly developed analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills, with proven ability to proactively formulate and recommend strategies to enhance operational activities.Highly developed interpersonal communication skills and emotional intelligence with the ability to liaise effectively and professionally with a range of key stakeholders.Highly developed conflict resolution and negotiation skills.Parkerville Children and Youth Care are uniquely positioned to provide the successful applicant with the following benefits:SCHADS Schedule B Pay Point and Level – Level 5, Pay Point 1 - $49.28 per hourDiscounted Health Insurance PlansEAP Service with Wellness resourcesSalary Packaging of up to $15,900Parkerville Children and Youth Care have a zero tolerance to alcohol and drugs.It is essential that all applicants meet the above criteria and are permitted to work and remain in Australia with no limitations.If you have any questions about this role, please send them through to Kim James at ****** hope to hear from you by 4:00pm, Friday, 6 December 2024.
